Our Story

Vesta and Stuart met at Grace Church St. Louis in 2018 amidst a group of young adults on a Sunday after church. Not suspecting anything further than friendship at the time, the two developed respect for one another in their respective ministries and walks with the Lord.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Stuart and Vesta began hanging out in the context of a small friend group. It was here that a deeper level of respect and admiration began to grow and flourish. Through many conversations, time spent together and especially working together in ministry, friendship and respect developed into love. In 2021, Stuart proposed to Vesta and three months later they were engaged to be married!

Since being married in August 2021, the Lord had spent much time carefully unveiling his plan for the next season of our lives, and that is what this website is devoted to! We are not only looking to start up our own businesses, from music instruction, dance instruction, photography, and more; but we want to document our journey and share it with others as well.

We both feel very strongly that the Lord has placed a calling on our lives to share our journey with others. The good, the bad, and the ugly. It is much harder than either of us realized, but we have learned that there is healing in bringing others into our story and not allowing the devil to cast shame on us and use it as a tool to keep us silent.

We will not be silent. We have a testimony and we know that we are called to share it.

Grace.

We need grace. We need to give grace. We need to extend grace to each other (every day), and we must extend it to others. Our story is filled with the Lord’s grace. He has given it to us more times than we can remember. And every time was more than we deserved. From small mistakes to big mistakes. Each an opportunity to return to the Lord, repent, and grow.

We pray that if there is anything people will see about us, it is that we are not perfect, but that we want to pursue the Lord Jesus and follow in His footsteps. So as you follow along in this journey with us, know that we are just doing our best to live for the Lord and understand how He wants to use us, and how we can better understand more about His heart and His character.

With Love,
Stuart & Vesta Harrier
