Stuart Isaac Harrier

Well, as of today I am 28 years old, married to the love of my life, Vesta Benze Harrier, and I am a father to my beautiful son, Isaiah Shiloah. I am incredibly humbled that the Lord has seen fit to give me the amazing family that I have. In fact, I always knew that my family was going to be special, but I never imagined it would be like this.

Is it perfect? Ha! Heck no. Quite the opposite in fact. Just ask Vesta.

That being said, the Lord meets us every single day in the hard, the ugly, the fun, the melancholy, and the beautiful. Actually, it is all beautiful. All of it. And I love it.

I grew up in a small church in Fairview Heights, IL and it was there that I learned who the Lord was and how significant it is that He (Jesus Christ, Emmanuel, the Son of God) died on a cross for me, to pay the price for my sins, and to pave the way for me to have direct access to Jehovah Jireh, my Heavenly Father. I fell in love with the Lord and I have been walking with Him ever since. I have made dumb decisions along the way. I have fallen in more ways than I can remember. And yet, He has always been faithful. He has always forgiven me. He has always been my Father.

Music. I am a musician and an artist. Church music in my passion, specifically. When I was in middle school I saw Chris Tomlin lead worship at a youth camp and I knew in my heart that I wanted to do the same. I was very inspired by Chris and others in my youth and the Lord saw my heart. He allowed me to lead worship in various capacities as a teen and as a young adult. Today, I lead worship with numerous church groups and I teach music privately. I am highly passionate about developing worship leadership skills in those who feel a calling in that direction.

Adventure. If there is one thing my heart loves like crazy, it’s adventure. I love exploring the new and unknown. For as long as I can remember, I have dreamt of experiencing all that the Lord has created for our enjoyment and His glory.

Missions. The Great Commission clearly states that we are to share the Gospel of Jesus with anyone who will listen. Even to the ends of the earth… To the ends the earth… Being one who loves adventure I can only say that this is something I feel a deep urge in my spirit to pursue. I am honored to be partnered with an organization that is dear to my heart, PIPES International, that carries out mission work in various parts of the world. I urge you to learn about this incredible organization and how you can be involved.

Photography. Looking through a camera lens is pretty darn special. Capturing beauty and then sharing it with others is even cooler. It was in 2019, in Africa when I discovered how much I resonated with this form of artistry. Upon my return, I purchased my first camera and haven’t put it down since.
